SKOWHEGAN — A routine traffic stop for an inspection violation led to drug charges for two individuals on Friday, police said.
During the investigation, Officers Alex Burns and Shane Dutill, along with Sgt. Joshua York and K9 Officer Reece arrived to assist.
The traffic stop resulted in both occupants being arrested and transported to Somerset County Correctional Facility.
Dubois was charged with Unlawful Furnishing of Scheduled Drugs Class B (Cocaine) with bail set at $2,500.
True was charged with Unlawful Furnishing of Scheduled Drugs Class C (Cocaine) with bail set at $2,000.
Both individuals are expected to remain in custody through the Memorial Day weekend, according to Chief Bucknam.
