OSSIPEE — A Massachusetts man was arrested after he drove more than double the speed limit on Route 16.
At 2:49 p.m. on Sunday, May 25, State Trooper Bakraqi of the Troop E barracks was patrolling Route 16 in Ossipee when he observed a BMW traveling at 120 mph.
Trooper Bakraqi conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as Jacob Driscoll, 28, of Peabody, Massachusetts.
Driscoll was arrested and charged with reckless operation.
He was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in Ossipee District Court on July 30.
