PROVIDENCE — Rhode Island State Police arrested three individuals in separate incidents overnight on May 25-26 in the Providence area.
At 9:31 p.m. Sunday, troopers arrested Christopher S. Dunn, 51, of Seekonk, Massachusetts, following a motor vehicle accident on Route 195 in East Providence.
Dunn faces charges of driving under the influence, refusal to submit to a chemical test, and failure to stop for an accident resulting in damage to an attended vehicle.
Later that night at 11:16 p.m., troopers arrested Jeffrey Martins, 63, of East Providence, during a traffic stop on Chad Brown Street in Providence.
Martins was arrested on an affidavit and warrant for simple assault from the East Providence Police Department and was later transferred to their custody.
In a third incident at 12:58 a.m. Monday, troopers arrested Norbertson Lopes Evora, 44, of Woonsocket, during a traffic stop on Route 95 in Providence.
Lopes Evora was charged with second-offense DUI, refusal to submit to a chemical test, and fourth or subsequent offense of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
All three suspects were processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, with Dunn and Lopes Evora being arraigned and released to responsible adults.
