Waterbury man faces second DUI charge after traffic stop

WATERBURY — A Montpelier man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on May 23 at approximately 5:46 p.m.

Travis Worthington, 46, was stopped by Vermont State Police troopers from the Berlin Barracks on Route 100 near its intersection with US Route 2.

During the interaction, troopers observed signs of impairment from Worthington.

Worthington was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police Berlin Barracks for processing.

He was charged with DUI #2 and negligent operation.

Worthington was issued a citation to appear in Washington County Superior Court to answer to the charges.
