ALBANY — Albany Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the area of First Street and Lexington Avenue early Saturday morning.
On Saturday, May 24, around 4:30 a.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting at the intersection.
Upon arrival, officers found a 38-year-old man who had sustained injuries to his face.
The victim was treated at the scene by emergency medical personnel and transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators determined that the victim was shot at while sitting inside a vehicle.
The facial injuries resulted from the window shattering during the incident.
