SCITUATE — Troopers at the Scituate Barracks arrested Jalissa Rodriguez, 36, of Pawtucket, at 10 a.m. on multiple fraud charges.
Rodriguez, of 39 Everett Street, faces charges of obtaining money under false pretenses exceeding $10,000, access to computer for fraudulent purposes, fraudulent use of food stamps exceeding $500, and fraudulently obtaining assistance exceeding $500.
The arrest resulted from a barracks investigation, and Rodriguez was processed and transported to Sixth District Court for arraignment.
At 12:50 p.m., troopers arrested Diamontae Cole, 25, of Providence, on an affidavit and arrest warrant for felony shoplifting issued by the Providence Police Department.
Cole, who resides at 42 Pope Street Apt. #2, was apprehended during a motor vehicle stop on Hartford Avenue in Providence.
He was transported to headquarters for processing before being turned over to the Providence Police Department.
Later that day, at 11:58 p.m., troopers arrested Jaylene Jones, 23, of East Providence, on a Sixth Division District Court bench warrant.
Jones, of 15c Evergreen Drive, had failed to appear for a pretrial conference on the original charge of domestic violence criminal violation of no contact order – 2nd offense.
The arrest occurred during a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 in Providence.
Jones was transported to the State Police – Scituate Barracks for processing and was later transferred to the Adult Correctional Institution Women’s Intake Center.
