BOSTON — An 81-year-old woman with dementia who went missing Tuesday afternoon has been located, according to Boston police.
Yong Z. Gong of East Boston had been reported missing after she was last seen around 3 p.m. pushing a wire shopping cart in the 800 block of Border Street.
Police had issued a public alert describing Gong as an Asian female with black and grey hair who suffers from dementia.
Authorities canceled the missing person alert after Gong was found safely.
No additional details about where or when she was located were immediately available.
