BATH — A 20-year-old Bath man was arrested on multiple charges following a domestic violence incident at a local hotel on May 23.
According to the Bath Village Police Department, a female victim reported to police around 4:30 p.m. that she had been attacked by her boyfriend.
The victim had visible marks on her neck, a cut lip, and facial swelling when she arrived at the police department.
Police said the incident occurred at the Finger Lakes Inn and Suites on West Morris Street in the village of Bath.
Officers located the suspect, identified as Kurt Jones, and arrested him following an investigation.
Jones was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, and criminal obstruction of breathing, all class A misdemeanors.
After processing, Jones was transported to the Steuben County Jail for CAP court.
He was released following arraignment.
