LYNN — The Lynn Police Drug Task Force, with assistance from the Salem Police Department Criminal Investigation Division, executed three search warrants Friday, resulting in two arrests and the seizure of multiple illegal substances.
The warrants, granted by Lynn District Court, were obtained following a lengthy drug investigation, according to police officials.
Officers seized approximately 60 grams of cocaine, 8 grams of fentanyl, 10 grams of crack-cocaine and 6 Suboxone strips during the May 23 operation.
The search warrants were executed at 10 a.m., though authorities did not immediately release the locations that were searched.
Police did not identify the two individuals arrested or specify what charges they face.
The investigation involved cooperation between law enforcement agencies from two neighboring cities.
