NEWBURY — A Ryegate man escaped injury after his vehicle rolled over on US Route 5 Saturday morning.
Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks responded to the single-vehicle crash near Longmoore Hill Road at approximately 8:04 a.m. on May 24.
Nicholas Richards, 23, was traveling south on US Route 5 when his 2018 Mitsubishi Highlander exited the west side of the road and flipped onto its side, according to state police.
The vehicle sustained damage to its front end and both passenger and driver sides.
Richards was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, authorities said.
The incident occurred during cloudy weather on wet road conditions.
Members of the Wells River Fire Department and Woodsville Ambulance assisted troopers at the scene.
