South Windsor police arrest two in separate incidents

SOUTH WINDSOR — Police arrested an 89-year-old man following a domestic violence incident and a 65-year-old man for theft from a local distribution center on Thursday, authorities said.

Richard E. Fournier, 89, of South Windsor, was arrested at 5 p.m. after allegedly grabbing a victim’s hands and attempting to lift her from a seated position, causing pain, according to South Windsor Police Department reports.

Fournier was issued a misdemeanor summons for disorderly conduct and was scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court Friday morning at 9 a.m.

In a separate incident, Gentleman Bozeman, 65, of South Windsor, was arrested at 5:40 p.m. after police responded to the Macy’s Distribution Center at 301 Governor’s Highway.

Bozeman, an employee at the facility, allegedly stole two bottles of perfume, police said.

He was issued a misdemeanor summons for sixth-degree larceny and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on June 11 at 9 a.m.
