NEW LONDON — Police arrested a Groton man in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in a downtown municipal parking lot last Thanksgiving.
On Nov. 28, 2024, at approximately 1:10 a.m., New London Police responded to reports of gunshots in the municipal parking lot between Golden Street and Pearl Street.
Officers found evidence supporting the initial report and members of the Investigative Services Division processed the scene, collected evidence, and canvassed the surrounding area.
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Following an active investigation, police arrested Bryce Jaden Harper, 22, of 1 Crystal Lake Road, Groton, Connecticut, on May 22.
Harper faces charges of carrying a pistol without a permit, unlawful discharge of a firearm, and first-degree reckless endangerment.
The investigation remains active, according to police officials.
