PITTSFIELD — Members of the Pittsfield Police Department executed a search warrant on a Pittsfield residence Thursday, May 22.
The search warrant yielded approximately 1.4 kilos of cocaine and crack cocaine, two firearms, 45 rounds of ammunition and $17,000 in cash.
Daniel Navarette of Pittsfield was arrested and charged with trafficking in cocaine, 200 grams or more; two counts of possessing a firearm without FID card; two counts of possessing a firearm in a felony; possessing a large capacity feeding device; possessing ammunition without FID card; improper storage of a firearm; improper storage of a large capacity firearm near a minor; and firearm violation with three prior violent/drug crimes.
Navarette was arraigned Thursday afternoon in Berkshire District Court and held on $200,000 bail.
The investigation included members of PPD Drug and Anti Crime units, Berkshire County Drug Task Force, Massachusetts State Police, Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office, and the North Adams Police Department.
