BROWNVILLE — Members of the New York State Police Computer Crimes Unit and Bureau of Criminal Investigation conducted an investigative operation at a residence on Middle Road in the town of Brownville, Jefferson County, on May 20.
The investigation stemmed from a cyber tip received by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Isaiah Clukey, 19, of Brownville, was identified as the suspect following the investigation.
A subsequent search and interview revealed that Clukey was in possession of child sexual abuse material.
Clukey was arrested and charged with one count of promoting a sexual performance by a child less than 17 years of age, a class D felony.
He was also charged with one count of possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child, a class E felony, and two counts of unlawful surveillance in the second degree, both class E felonies.
Clukey was arraigned in Watertown City Court and remanded to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility on bail.
The investigation is ongoing.
