RUTLAND TOWN — Three individuals were arrested on felony drug charges after a routine traffic stop on Business Route 4 early Tuesday morning.

Vermont State Police Troopers from the Rutland Barracks conducted a motor vehicle stop at 12:11 a.m. for an observed violation.

The driver was identified as Kevin Williamson, 36, of Killington, who was found to be operating with a criminally suspended license.

During the stop, troopers observed drug paraphernalia in plain view inside the vehicle.

The other occupants, George Guile, 57, of Killington, and Nicole Brouillard, 37, of West Rutland, consented to searches of their persons.

Troopers located a large quantity of suspected cocaine during a search of Guile.

All three occupants were arrested and transported to the Rutland Barracks for processing.

During the investigation, Brouillard provided troopers with a false name, resulting in an additional charge.

Williamson was issued a criminal citation for cocaine possession and driving with a criminally suspended license before being released.

Brouillard and Guile were lodged at Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility on $10,000 bail, both facing felony cocaine possession charges, with Brouillard also charged with providing false information to police.
