NORTH PROVIDENCE — The North Providence Police Department is requesting public assistance in locating a missing 16-year-old girl who was last seen leaving school Tuesday afternoon.
Divyne Smith was reported missing by her family on May 20 after she was last seen at North Providence High School at dismissal time.
Smith is described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, with brown eyes and brown wavy hair.
She was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a gray hooded sweatshirt, and gray New Balance sneakers, while carrying a black backpack.
Police say Smith has been known to frequent the Providence and Pawtucket areas.
