NAUGATUCK — Arlyn Williams, 18, of Naugatuck turned himself in to police on May 22 on an active arrest warrant related to a firearms incident at a local gas station.
Williams was charged with threatening in the first degree, reckless endangerment in the first degree, and two counts of criminal possession of a pistol/revolver.
He was held on $250,000 bond and arraigned at Waterbury Superior Court the morning of May 21.
The case began on May 14 at approximately 12:15 a.m., when a Naugatuck police officer was flagged down by a passing motorist who reported someone had just pulled a gun on him at a gas station.
Police investigation revealed the victim and suspect were known to each other.
According to police, several individuals pulled up to the victim’s car in a vehicle, and one person exited, entered the victim’s car, pointed a handgun at the victim and threatened him.
The suspect then returned to the vehicle and fled the area.
The investigation led officers to a house on Field Street where they located Ryan Rowe, 20, of Naugatuck.
Rowe was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit threatening in the first degree and conspiracy to commit reckless endangerment in the first degree.
He was released after posting a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 28.
