MILFORD — A 33-year-old Milford man faces multiple charges including assault with intent to murder after allegedly attacking another man with a knife Wednesday afternoon.
The Milford Public Safety Communications Center received a 911 call at approximately 3:59 p.m. on May 21 from a male on Reade Street reporting he had been assaulted by another man who attempted to attack him with a knife.
As officers were dispatched, the victim identified the suspect as Luan Moura, 33, of Milford, who was leaving the scene in a gray Ford Edge.
Officers located Moura at 4:30 p.m. and placed him under arrest.
Moura faces charges of assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and assault with intent to murder.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
