BETHEL — A Royalton man was arrested Tuesday evening after state police found him with active out-of-state warrants and in possession of a controlled substance.
Troopers from the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks responded to a residence on Main Street in Bethel at approximately 7:19 p.m. for a reported trespassing complaint.
At the scene, troopers identified Derek W. Noble, 42, who was discovered to have active out-of-state warrants for possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl.
During a search incident to arrest, Noble was found to be in possession of a controlled substance, according to police.
Noble was transported to the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks for processing and later lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility on $10,000 bail.
He is scheduled to appear in court at 12:30 p.m. May 21 in Woodstock.
