BOSTON — Boston police are seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a convenience store in Roxbury.
The robbery occurred Monday, May 19, at about 7:02 a.m. at Quincy Variety Store located at 236 Quincy Street, according to detectives from District B-2.
Police said the suspect, armed with a firearm, took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register drawer.
The individual was observed walking across Quincy Street on Magnolia Street toward Kineo Street after the incident.
Authorities described the suspect as wearing a gray New England Patriots hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black gloves, and a face mask.
Detectives have released an updated photo of the suspect and are actively reviewing the circumstances surrounding the robbery.
