RUTLAND — Police are searching for a man accused of leaving the scene of a crash on Central Tree Road earlier this month.
Ray Falgoust is wanted by the Rutland Police Department after allegedly crashing his truck and fleeing on foot, according to authorities.
Police say Falgoust hit a stone wall, then a tree, before his truck flipped over during the incident, which occurred on Saturday, May 11.
Falgoust’s last known address is in Louisiana, but police believe he has associates in the nearby town of Holden.
The Rutland Police Department is asking anyone with information about Falgoust’s whereabouts to contact them at 508-886-4033 or email Detective DeSousa at cdesousa@rutlandpd.us.
Authorities advise the public not to attempt to apprehend Falgoust themselves but to contact local police with any information.
