WATERBURY — A 20-year-old man was arrested after allegedly pointing a firearm at individuals involved in a physical altercation on Angel Drive, police said.
Anthony Hall of Waterbury, Connecticut, was apprehended on May 16 following an investigation by the Waterbury Police Department’s Vice and Intelligence Unit and Crime Prevention Unit.
Officers were conducting an investigation into narcotics activity and quality of life issues in the area of 112 Angel Drive after receiving numerous complaints.
During the investigation, police observed Hall pointing a firearm at individuals involved in a physical altercation.
When officers approached Hall and issued verbal commands to drop the weapon, he fled into a nearby apartment that did not belong to him.
Hall was successfully apprehended without incident inside the apartment.
He faces multiple charges including theft of a firearm, burglary in the first degree, tampering with evidence, interfering with police officers, carrying a pistol without a permit, illegal sale or transfer of a firearm, and possession of a high-capacity magazine.
