HUNTINGTON — Vermont State Police responded to a call on Bert White Road Monday evening after receiving reports of threats made against local residents.
Mark Smith, 86, of Huntington was issued a citation for criminal threatening following the incident that occurred at approximately 8:56 p.m. on May 19.
According to police, Smith threatened the life of Nicole Doner, 52, and Matthew Conforti, 46, both of Huntington.
The investigation began when authorities received a threatening call report at a residence on Bert White Road.
Smith was ordered to appear at Chittenden County Superior Court Criminal Division on July 1 at 8:30 a.m.
