Oneida police issue multiple tickets, make arrests in 10-day period

ONEIDA — The Oneida City Police Department released information about multiple arrests and tickets issued between May 9 and May 19.

On May 9, Brandon R. Aquino of Clinton and Taishawn K. Arrington of Brooklyn were both issued appearance tickets for petit larceny.

Joel M. Emerson of Lenox received a criminal summons for second-degree harassment on the same day.

Lige M. Truitt was arrested for first-degree criminal contempt and second-degree harassment.

Keyon S. Williams of East Flatbush was issued an appearance ticket for petit larceny and second-degree criminal impersonation.

On May 10, Daniel P. Relyea of Oneida was arrested on a warrant for aggravated criminal contempt, first-degree criminal contempt and second-degree harassment.

Amanda M. Jayson of Lenox received an appearance ticket on May 11 for first-degree falsifying business records, petit larceny and third-degree possession of a forged instrument.

Charles B. Williams of Oneida was arrested the same day on a bench warrant for making a false written statement.

On May 13, Vincent R. Mincolla of Oneida was arrested for second-degree menacing and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

A juvenile male from Oneida was issued an appearance ticket for petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief on May 15.

Karen L. Ortman of Oneida was arrested on May 15 on a bench warrant for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and received an appearance ticket for two additional counts of the same charge.

Multiple traffic tickets and arrests were made between May 16 and May 19, including Sara D. Schmitt of Oneida who was arrested on a warrant for second-degree harassment.

The police department’s report concluded with the May 19 arrest of Benedict M. Sullivan of Oneida on a warrant for second-degree criminal contempt.
