CLARENDON — A driver from Alaska and his passenger suffered minor injuries after their car went off the road and into a ditch on Middle Road Friday morning.
Luke Autrey, 25, of Fairbanks, was driving south on Middle Road near 1625 Middle Road at approximately 11:38 a.m. when he failed to maintain his lane, according to Vermont State Police.
Autrey’s 2014 Honda Accord left the roadway and ended up in a ditch, sustaining significant damage.
Sadira Majorell, 23, of Lynchburg, Virginia, was a passenger in the vehicle.
Both Autrey and Majorell reported minor injuries but declined transport to the hospital.
The Clarendon Fire Department and Regional Ambulance Service assisted state troopers at the scene.
Police said civil violation charges are pending against Autrey.
Road conditions were dry and weather was clear at the time of the crash.
