Boston police seek suspects in downtown break-in

BOSTON — Boston police are asking for the public’s help to identify suspects involved in a breaking and entering incident at a downtown building.

The break-in occurred Wednesday, May 14, at approximately 7:15 p.m. at 131 Tremont Street, according to detectives from District A-1.

Investigators report the suspects gained entry to the building by climbing through a window accessible from the fire escape.

Police are actively reviewing evidence related to the incident and urge anyone with information to contact District A-1 detectives at (617) 343-4239.

Community members wishing to remain anonymous can provide tips through the CrimeStoppers Tip Line by calling 1-800-494-TIPS, texting “TIP” to CRIME (27463), or submitting information online at the Boston Police Department’s website.

Photos and videos related to the investigation can also be submitted anonymously through CrimeStoppers, with police assuring that the identities of those who assist in investigations will be strictly protected.
