STERLING — A 49-year-old Auburn woman was arrested on felony charges after allegedly violating a protection order in the Town of Sterling, according to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.
Tina Goodluck was charged with Criminal Contempt in the 1st Degree following her arrest on May 17 at approximately 7 a.m.
Deputies responded to a reported domestic violence incident at a residence in Sterling where they found Goodluck on the property of a male subject.
Investigators determined that Goodluck was violating an existing full stay-away order of protection that prohibited her from being at the male’s residence.
The charge was elevated to a felony due to Goodluck’s previous convictions for Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree within the past five years, officials said.
Following her arrest, Goodluck was processed and transferred to Cayuga County Jail for arraignment, where bail was set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Sterling Court on May 21 at noon.
