ALLEGANY — A Bolivar man was arrested on multiple drug charges following a traffic stop in Allegany early Saturday morning.

Steele J. Rajski, 26, was taken into custody at approximately 1:55 a.m. on May 17 after being pulled over on Plaza Drive for multiple vehicle and traffic violations, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies reported observing drug paraphernalia in plain view inside Rajski’s vehicle, which led to a search.

The search revealed suspected fentanyl, buprenorphine pills and methadone, along with multiple packaging materials and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia, authorities said.

Rajski was transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Olean Substation for processing.

He was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Additional charges include second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, no seatbelt, inadequate muffler and speed in zone.

Rajski was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Allegany Town Court at a later date.
