3 arrested in Providence on various charges

PROVIDENCE — Rhode Island State Police arrested three individuals on various charges during separate traffic stops in Providence on Tuesday.

At 10:15 a.m., troopers arrested Jade Gomes, 28, of Pawtucket, for driving with a suspended license following a motor vehicle stop on Whitmarsh Street.

Gomes was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transferred to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment and presentment as a bail violator.

At 2:30 p.m., Shaquille Cooper, 32, of Providence, was arrested during a traffic stop on Oregon Street for forgery and counterfeiting of registration plates, giving false documents to a public official, and on a Providence Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear for restitution review on an original felony assault charge from the Providence Police Department.

Cooper was processed at Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center.

At 10:22 p.m., troopers arrested Ivette Rodriguez, 41, of Woonsocket, on a Sixth District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for a pre-trial conference on an original disorderly conduct charge from the Providence Police Department following a traffic stop on Charles Street.

Rodriguez was processed at Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Women’s Intake Center.
