NEW MARLBOROUGH — A residential break-in occurred at approximately 2 p.m. yesterday, according to New Marlborough Police.
Authorities responded after the homeowner called to report observing a suspect walking out of the residence with several items.
The homeowner confronted the suspect, who then fled the area before police arrived.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the New Marlborough Police Department.
The investigation is ongoing.
