Meth seized at Oxford Walmart after disturbance

OXFORD — Officers from the Oxford Police Department responded to a report of two individuals engaged in disturbing behavior at the local Walmart at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 14.

During the investigation at the scene, police discovered approximately 28 grams of crystal methamphetamine in the possession of one of the individuals.

The responding officers confiscated the illegal substance as part of their investigation.

Authorities identified the drug as crystal methamphetamine, a controlled substance that has recently become more prevalent in central Massachusetts.

No information was immediately available about charges filed or the identities of the individuals involved in the incident.
