YARMOUTH — A man was found with a gunshot wound to his arm on Willow Street in West Yarmouth Sunday night, according to police.
Yarmouth Police Dispatch received a 911 call at approximately 11:45 p.m. from a passerby who stopped to help the injured man.
Officers responded to the scene and provided care until Yarmouth rescue personnel arrived.
The victim was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with what authorities described as non-life-threatening injuries.
Members of the Yarmouth Police Detective Unit are investigating the incident.
No further information is available at this time, police said.
