Driver arrested for DUI in Woodford

WOODFORD — A New York man was arrested for driving under the influence early Sunday morning after Vermont State Police found him in what appeared to be a disabled vehicle on Vermont Route 9.

David Salow, 52, of Bellarose, was stopped by troopers at 3:35 a.m. near the intersection of Route 9 and City Stream Road.

While speaking with Salow, troopers observed multiple indicators of impairment, according to police.

Salow was arrested for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Shaftsbury barracks for processing.

He was later released on citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Bennington Criminal Division on June 2 at 8:30 a.m. to answer to the charge.
