CRAFTSBURY — Vermont State Police arrested a local man on charges of lewd and lascivious conduct with children following an investigation that began last week.
Andrew Calderwood, 32, of Craftsbury, was taken into custody Monday without incident after police investigated reports of concerning behavior involving multiple juveniles.
Investigators determined that Calderwood allegedly committed two counts of lewd and lascivious conduct with a child on May 10.
The investigation began May 15 after authorities received reports about the alleged incidents.
Calderwood was processed at the Vermont State Police Derby Barracks on May 19.
Following processing, he was transported to Northeast Correctional Complex where he was lodged for lack of $10,000 bail.
