FAIR HAVEN — A Castleton man was arrested on an outstanding warrant after being stopped for speeding in Fair Haven.
Christopher M. Washburn, 40, was taken into custody on May 15 after Fair Haven Police discovered he was wanted by authorities.
Police located Washburn on Capital Hill in Fair Haven at 8:05 a.m. on May 19 during a traffic stop for speeding.
The arrest warrant was issued by Judge Cortland Corsones of the Rutland District Court after Washburn failed to appear for a court date on March 12 for a prior charge of Petit Larceny.
Following his arrest, Washburn was issued a citation to appear in court on May 16.
