Boston police seek suspect in Quincy Street armed robbery

BOSTON — Boston police are seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a convenience store in Roxbury.

The robbery occurred Monday, May 19, at about 7:02 a.m. at Quincy Variety Store located at 236 Quincy Street, according to detectives from District B-2.

Police say the suspect, armed with a firearm, took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register drawer.

The individual was later observed walking across Quincy Street on Magnolia Street toward Kineo Street.

Authorities described the suspect as wearing a gray New England Patriots hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black gloves, and a face mask.

Detectives are actively reviewing the circumstances surrounding the incident.
