BIDDEFORD — The Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a suspicious fire at the May Street Recreation Facility.
The incident, which occurred Saturday, May 17, involved a previously extinguished bathroom fire at the facility.
Officials are investigating the fire due to suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
The Fire Marshal’s Office is asking anyone with information to contact the FMO Arson Hot-Line at 1-888-870-6162 or the Augusta Regional Communication Center at 207-624-7076.
Information can also be reported to the Biddeford Police Department or Biddeford Fire Department.
Authorities remind the public to dial 911 for any emergencies or crimes in progress.
