NAUGATUCK — A Naugatuck police officer was flagged down by a passing motorist who reported having a gun pulled on him at a local gas station around 12:15 a.m. on May 14.
Police investigation revealed the victim and suspect were known to each other.
Authorities determined several individuals had pulled up to the victim’s car, with one suspect entering the victim’s vehicle, pointing a handgun and making threats before returning to their own vehicle and fleeing.
The investigation led officers to a house on Field Street where they located 20-year-old Ryan Rowe of Naugatuck.
Rowe was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit threatening in the first degree and conspiracy to commit reckless endangerment in the first degree.
He was released after posting a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 28.
Police have identified a second suspect as 18-year-old Arlyn Williams of Naugatuck and currently hold an active arrest warrant for him.
