WILLIAMSTOWN — Vermont State Police arrested two men following a family fight that occurred early Saturday morning in Williamstown.
Troopers responded to the incident at approximately 4:44 a.m. on May 17 after receiving a report of a family altercation.
Upon arrival, officers interviewed all parties involved and conducted an on-scene investigation.
Jesse Holloway, 40, of Berlin, was found to have committed simple assault and unlawful mischief, according to police.
Holloway was issued a criminal citation to appear in Orange County Superior Court on July 9 at 8:30 a.m.
Further investigation revealed that Jackson Byrd, 18, of Williamstown, committed aggravated assault and unlawful mischief during the incident.
Byrd was taken into custody and transported to the Berlin Barracks for processing.
He was later released with a citation to appear in Orange County Superior Court on June 4 at 8:30 a.m.
