ST. JOHNSBURY — Officers from the St. Johnsbury Police Department arrested a Woodsville, N.H., man on multiple charges including sexual assault following an investigation that began May 11.
Angel Morales Cordova, 27, was taken into custody on May 15 and is being held without bail.
According to Detective Sgt. Lester Cleary, police investigated a report of a protection order violation at a residence on Cote Court around 9:30 p.m. on May 11.
The investigation revealed two separate violations of a protection order as well as a sexual assault, police said.
Cordova faces two counts of violating a protection order and one count of sexual assault.
He is scheduled to appear in Caledonia Superior Court on Friday, May 16, to answer to the charges.
