NY man arrested for grand larceny scheme in Schodack

SCHODACK — A Nassau man was arrested Monday for allegedly defrauding multiple victims of more than $20,000 through a scheme involving unfulfilled sales of recreational vehicles and concert tickets.

Patrick M. Walsh, 63, faces multiple felony charges including two counts of grand larceny in the third degree, two counts of grand larceny in the fourth degree, and scheme to defraud in the first degree.

State Police began investigating on April 16 at 12:13 p.m. after receiving a fraud complaint.

Investigators determined Walsh allegedly collected money from victims between August 2024 and February while in Schodack, promising various items that were never delivered.

Walsh was arrested at his Nassau home and processed at the State Police barracks in Schodack.

Following his arraignment at Schodack Town Court, Walsh was remanded to the Rensselaer County Correctional Facility without bail.
