Man arrested for DUI after 911 hangup call in Arlington

ARLINGTON — Vermont State Police arrested a Wilmington man on suspicion of driving under the influence following a 911 hangup call early Thursday morning.

Grant Delaquila, 45, was taken into custody shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Vermont Route 313 in Arlington.

Troopers responded to the area after receiving a disconnected 911 call from a vehicle.

Upon investigation, officers determined Delaquila had been operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

Delaquila was transported to the Shaftsbury Barracks for processing.

He was later released with a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Bennington Criminal Division on June 2 at 8:30 a.m.

Delaquila faces charges of DUI refusal, according to state police.
