BOSTON — Boston police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect in an indecent assault and battery incident that occurred in the North End.
The incident took place inside a residence in the area of Margaret Street at approximately 10:53 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14.
According to police, the victim was entering her home when she was approached from behind by an unknown black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
The suspect committed an indecent assault and battery before fleeing the building on foot.
Sexual Assault Unit Detectives are actively investigating the incident and urge anyone with information to contact them at (617) 343-4400.
