WILTON — A 52-year-old Wilton man was arrested Sunday after sheriff’s deputies responded to a disturbance call on Jones Road.
Galen L. Gaudette faces charges of criminal possession of a firearm, a class E felony, and criminal contempt in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the scene at 2:37 p.m. Sunday, where their investigation led to Gaudette’s arrest.
Authorities say Gaudette is accused of possessing a firearm in violation of an order of protection that specifically prohibited him from having weapons.
Gaudette was arraigned before Judge David R. Towne in Wilton Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
