South Windsor woman arrested for Target theft

SOUTH WINDSOR — A 34-year-old East Granby woman was arrested Thursday on charges related to a theft at a local Target store, according to South Windsor police.

Gabriella M. Burwood was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant stemming from a February incident at the Target located at 125 Buckland Hills Drive.

Police said Burwood allegedly stole approximately $240 worth of merchandise from the store.

Burwood was initially detained by Hartford Police Department before being transferred to South Windsor police custody.

She was processed and held on a $25,000 surety bond.

Burwood is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court at 9 a.m. Friday.
