NAUGATUCK — Naugatuck Police began investigating an incident involving a firearm during the early morning hours of May 14.
The investigation resulted in a large police presence in the area of Field Street between Timothy Road and King Street that lasted into the evening hours of May 14.
No injuries occurred as a result of this incident.
Police officials stated there is no threat to the public and further information will be released as it becomes available.
