Manlius man arrested for DWI in Weedsport

WEEDSPORT — A Manlius man was arrested on drunk driving charges after sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of suspicious behavior in the Village of Weedsport.

Brian J. Hahn, 38, was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI following the May 10 incident, according to Cayuga County Sheriff Brian Schenck.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in Weedsport at approximately 4:27 p.m. after receiving reports of a suspicious male “acting abnormally” after driving a vehicle.

During the investigation, officers determined Hahn had been driving while intoxicated.

Hahn was transported to the Public Safety Building for processing, where he provided a breath sample measuring .25% blood alcohol content, more than three times the legal limit.

He was charged with DWI (first offense), aggravated DWI, and additional traffic infractions.

Hahn was released on uniform traffic tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Village of Weedsport Court on May 19 at 7 p.m.
