MALTA — A 23-year-old Malta man was arrested Thursday on charges of possessing child pornography, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
Hunter J. Burnette was charged with possessing a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony.
The arrest stems from an incident that occurred on Jan. 24, 2024, when Burnette was allegedly found to be in possession of images of child pornography on his cell phone.
Burnette was arraigned before Judge Ellwood A. Sloat Jr. in Malta Town Court.
He was returned to the Albany County Jail, where he is being held on separate charges, pending further proceedings.
The arrest was made on a warrant issued by the Malta Town Court.
