HUDSON — The Hillsborough County Sheriff, the Hudson Police Department, and Hudson Fire Department are currently investigating an incident that occurred at a private residence in the Derry Road area on May 15.
At approximately 10 a.m., sheriffs and officers responded to a residence to conduct an investigation.
Upon arrival, responding units encountered a situation that required immediate emergency intervention.
Additional resources, including emergency medical services and specialized units, were requested to the scene.
Due to the ongoing nature of the investigation and the sensitivity of the incident, specific details are currently limited.
However, there is no ongoing threat to the public, and the area has been secured.
Neighboring school campuses were placed into a secure status in an abundance of caution.
There is no threat to the schools.
The schools will be released on time and buses should still be arriving on time.
