HIGHGATE — A 19-year-old Highgate man was arrested early Thursday morning on charges of first-degree aggravated domestic assault after police responded to a report of an active domestic incident.
Vermont State Police troopers arrived at the scene at 12:40 a.m. and observed that a household member had suffered serious bodily injuries allegedly caused by Jacob Totten.
Totten was taken into custody and is being held on $2,500 bail.
He is scheduled to appear in Franklin County Criminal Court on May 15 at 1 p.m.
